Here I am, one week and 7 days after I said I would post every week. So, that's close anyway. Despite the fact
that I have 7 step-cabinets to finish, a Japanese games table and chairs to finish, and toys and projects piled up all around
the house, I opted instead (after reading the latest Architectual Digest- an article on the Dumfries House) to build a very
interesting library desk which I found in said article.
Once again, my ADD dictates my building schedule.
Welcome to my blog! Call me out-of-touch, but I have no idea what exactly I am supposed to do on a blog. My
wife Nancy explained to me the basic premise, so here goes:
It is January 15th today, 2:40 in the afternoon, and about
30 below outside, and my son woke me up at 4:30 this morning. I spent the morning working on a number of projects, including
6 Japanese Step Cabinets, that I need to finish before the Montreal Miniature show in March. I thought, that in my dozy
state, I should stop before I take off a finger. So instead, I've opted to extemporize my ideas for this blog-thing.
Extemporize... a word that bears repetiton.
What Nancy tells me I am going to be doing is updating this every
week, with whatever projects and pieces I happen to be working on. I'm not sure if I can post photos here, but if I
can, I shall try and include shots of work-in-progress. I'm always interested in input from other people, suggestions, possible
ideas for projects, so feel free to email me at sales@keendersonminiatures.com.
